Social Impact

Advocacy and working with nonprofits are integral parts of Perna Content’s mission. If people want to make our planet a little nicer, we can help by assisting nonprofits to find and amplify their voices.

Our approach:

1. To create a film that can have a big impact, you need to choose an issue that resonates with an audience you know well. Think about the issues that your 501(c) 3 organization focuses on and consider which is most pressing.

2. Develop a clear message: Once you’ve chosen an issue, it’s important to develop a closely targeted, concise message that will drive your film. What do you want your audience to take away from your film? What actions do you want them to take?

3. Promote emotional resonance: You need to tell a story that engages your audience emotionally as well as rationally. Considerusing personal stories and other real-life examples to help your audience connect with issues on a deeper level.

4. Collaborate with experts: To ensure that your film is accurate and effective, it’s important to collaborate with researchers and otherexperts who can provide insights that will enhance your film.

5. Plan your distribution strategy: You need to ensure that it reachesyour target audience. This could include screening your film atfestivals and other public screenings and distributing it online through social media or other platforms.

6. Measure your impact: This could include tracking the number of views or shares on social media, monitoring other media coverage and surveying your audience to see if members were moved to act after watching your film. Making films with social impact and advocacy for 501(c) 3 organizations can be a powerful way to raise awareness and inspire action on important social issues. By following the strategies above, you can foster communication that makes a real difference in the world.
